Text Box: Angels & Father Christmas:  The dolls are reproductions of antique French, German or contemporary dolls.  Molds are made from the original heads and then liquid porcelain is carefully poured into them.  They are dried, silk sanded and fired in a high-fire kiln.  They are then china-painted and fired many times over.  Eyes are hand-blown or painted.  The bodies are made of composition or leather as the original antiques or they are soft bodies built over a wire armature.  The wigs are made of human hair or hand-made of mohair.  The costumes are created and sewn by the artist.  All dolls have undergarments, accessories and are on a stand.
